Families choosing Oswego Hospital will be provided quality, compassionate family centered maternity care. Optimal levels of wellness and health will be attained through the education of our mothers and their families by our qualified staff.

Twenty-four hour a day physician coverage is provided with a certified nurse midwife, Catherine Tambroni-Parker, CNM, Dr. Roanld Uva. Dr. Joseph Mather, and Dr. Daniel Coty. Oswego Hospital offers a comprehensive breastfeeding program, which includes three certified lactation consultants, headed by Sally Cafalone LPN/IBCLC, plus Sherry Russell RN/IBCLC and Sandy Zollo RN/IBCLC. We also provide informative, detailed childbirth education classes for expectant families in our community by Gina Lombardo RNC, Jennifer Dowdle RNC and Erin Roy RN.

Prepared Childbirth Class:
Six classes focus on labor, delivery and parenting. Sessions are held throughout the year. Pre-registration is required and a fee is charged. Parents-to-be are encouraged to call us to register as soon as pregnancy is confirmed. Call 349-5572 between 7 am - 3 pm.


Antenatal Breast Feeding Class:
($15 Registration Fee)
Our introduction to breastfeeding class is usually held on the first Thursday of every month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All aspects of breastfeeding are addressed, from the benefits of breastfeeding to diet positions for feeding, weaning and much more. Pre-registration is required and a fee is charged. Call 349-5572 to register between 7 am to 3 pm.
